Founded in 1980, the San Antonio Food Bank has quickly grown to serve 100,000 individuals a week in one of the largest service areas in Texas. Their focus is to not only provide their clients with the immediate food needed for today, but also to have the resources to be self-sufficient in the future. While eliminating hunger is their first priority, they also help clients access the resources they need to stabilize their lives going forward by providing innovative nutrition, health, wellness, and agricultural initiatives that take a holistic approach to nourishment.

With Texas ranked 2nd in the nation for food insecurity, with 1 in 6 living in food-insecure homes, MVM Inc. is grateful for the tireless work of the San Antonio Food Bank helping to feed our neighbors in need.
