The San Antonio Clubhouse provides resources, training, and support where mental health is no barrier to achieving one’s dreams. At the heart of the Clubhouse, members embark on a transformative journey towards mental health recovery, where each person’s unique skills and talents are acknowledged and celebrated.

Their Form Communities’ Peer Academy Program trains and certifies Peer Specialists for Texans who have lived through mental health and substance use recovery and now work professionally alongside others walking the same road. The coursework prepares students to earn state credentials in mental health and recovery support, while opening the door to meaningful careers in a field where their most challenging experiences become their greatest professional strengths.

MVM Inc.’s support helps to train adult students who will go on to serve in clinics, clubhouses, and community organizations across Texas. The Peer Academy turns lived experience into a career and turns a career into a stable life.
