Montogomery County Maryland Parking Security
Vienna, VA – March 13, 2008 – MVM, Inc. would like to announce our award of a contract to provide unarmed bicycle security officers to Montgomery County, Maryland. Our well-trained officers provide security services at 16 multi-level parking garages and 25 surface lots throughout Silver Spring, Wheaton, and Bethesda, Maryland.
MVM began operating the Montgomery County Parking contract in September 2001 with the acquisition of Sting Security. In 2004, MVM was awarded a renewal of this contract of one year, with two one-year option periods. Our most recent re-award will extend our operation of the contract through 2011.
Our Program Manager at the Montgomery County site, has been an invaluable resource both operating the contract and helping with the re-bid. He is an experienced security and management professional, and his tenure on the contract dates back to its inception in 2001. We are extremely grateful for his efforts and dedication in making this contract a success.
